Aday Mara - Logs 14 points, four blocks Mara logged 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four blocks and two assists across 24 minutes during UCLA's win Wednesday against LIU-Brooklyn.

Impact Despite not having much collegiate experience, Mara makes up for it with international experience. Most recently, Mara participated in the FIBA U18 European Championships, of which his stats were not much different from what he logged Wednesday. He averaged 14.0 points and 2.7 blocks across his seven games of the tournament. Standing at 7-foot-3 and having displayed scoring prowess on an international stage, Mara is expected to be a two-way menace for UCLA if the team continues having him as its starting center.

Sebastian Mack - Point downgrade Wednesday Mack logged 11 points (3-9 FG, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, two steals and one assist across his 24 minutes during UCLA's win Wednesday against LIU-Brooklyn.

Impact Having scored 18 points during UCLA's previous game, the team recently added Mack to its starting lineup in place of Dylan Andrews (coach's decision) as a reward. The former scored fewer points against LIU-Brooklyn though. Nonetheless, Mack logged more than 10 of them again and played well overall during November 2023's first half.

Dylan Andrews - Held out via coach's decision Andrews was a DNP in UCLA's 78-58 win over Long Island due to a coach's decision, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Impact Andrews had started the Bruins' previous two games. The guard put up 18 points in the opener and played 29 minutes in both contests. It's unclear why UCLA head coach Mick Cronin elected to bench Andrews, but the guard has proven a capacity to contribute early in the season.

The massive freshman was previously dealing with an eligibility issue, but he's appeared in UCLA's first two games and will get his first career start Wednesday night.
