Ben Middlebrooks - Starting season openerMiddlebrooks is in the starting lineup for Monday's season opener against USC Upstate, Noah Fleischman of On3.com reports.
ImpactIt looks like the Wolfpack will begin the season with the incumbent center, as Middlebrooks appeared in 41 games (three starts) for the team last year. For the time being, it appears he's beaten out Louisville transfer Brandon Huntley-Hatfield (12.9 ppg, 8.4 rpg in 2023-24) for the role, but look for Huntley-Hatfield to be one of the first forwards off the bench.
