Impact Madsen led the team with his third-straight 20-plus point performance, draining five triples on his way to 24 points. Mason Madsen - Making it rain from behind the arc Madsen closed Thursday's 98-63 victory over Central Arkansas with 15 points (5-13 FG, 5-12 3Pt) and three rebounds in 22 minutes.
Impact Madsen contributed 15 points for the second-consecutive game with all 30 total points coming by way of the trifecta. Madsen, the senior transfer from Boston College, rode the portal to Utah to join his twin brother Gabe and has responded by providing some nice scoring punch from the bench. Mason has contributed as the team's second-leading scorer during both of Utah' first two games, trailing only his brother Gabe in each.

Impact Dawes struggled from the field but saw the most minutes off the bench of any player for the Utes and dominated the glass during his time on the court, with four of his career-high 11 boards coming on the offensive end. The transfer forward from Rice also set a new career-mark with five assists and added a steal and two blocks on the defensive end. It's unlikely Dawes keeps up this production once the schedule begins to toughen but he's a player worth keeping an eye on, especially if his time on the court bumps up closer to 28-30 minutes per game.
