Impact Falslev has quietly improved his scoring, rebounding and assists averages from his freshman season with the Aggies, and is capable of popping off for double digits in any of those categories on any given night. With Falslev as the primary small forward in a smaller starting five, Utah State is off to a 18-2 start to the year, including an 8-1 mark in Mountain West play.

Impact Despite Wednesday's road defeat, Martinez is having a banner year with the Aggies, leading the way with a 16.7 ppg scoring average that is also a career best. What's possibly the most impressive is the fact he's scored 11 or more points in every single game this season. Both his shot volume and free-throw percentage are up tremendously, which has so far offset a dips in field goal and three-point percentage. This loss may have cost Martinez and the Aggies their spot in the national rankings, and they won't get a chance to rebound until next Wednesday against Nevada.
