ImpactThe senior is shooting 71.8 percent from the field through the first six games of the season after transferring from California Baptist this summer. The 6-foot-9 forward has been a menace down low, averaging a near double-double thus far with 12.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per contest. Akin continued to show his consistency offensively, as he shot 85.7 percent from the field in Thursday's win. Expect similar production moving forward as he continues to get acclimated with his new team.
