ImpactDuring the game's first half, DeLoach underwent a hard fall that prevented him from putting any weight on his left leg. He was seen using crutches and with a brace around his left knee. DeLoach was unable to return to Wednesday's game and will be doubtful before VCU's upcoming game Saturday versus Fordham.

ImpactBrayon Freeman was part of Rhode Island's starting backcourt before the Rams dismissed him Monday. They need a replacement, which Thomas could be. Fantasy managers should not be surprised that the URI team is willing to use him more. Currently, Thomas and Brandon Weston are Rhode Island's only guards (not named Jalen Carey) available.
