ImpactTsohonis drew a random start three games prior, and wasn't overly productive. Since moving back to the bench however, he's been a spark for the offensively challenged Rams, averaging 13.7 points in three straight. He seems comfortable in this role, and as noted, VCU struggles to produce steadily offensively. While that could create opportunity for Tsohonis to blossom, it also will create serious inconsistency game to game.

ImpactLofton filled up the box score here, highlighted by a season-high in steals. It's been a slow go of late for the senior who missed three games due to an ankle injury, with this being just his third game back and third outing since December 1 due to scheduling issues. Averaging 38.1 minutes, Lofton looks poised to finish the campaign with a surge.

ImpactAdaway has now played a full complement of minutes in three of the Bonnies' last four games, which lends itself to plenty of production stability. He's scored in double-digits in all but one of Bona's contests to date and is averaging personal bests with 14.5 points and 7.5 rebounds.

ImpactBrown's status for Friday is still unknown, though after missing the Bonnies previous game due to Covid-19 protocols, it is not encouraging news. The 6-foot-5 guard is averaging 3.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in 12.8 minutes per game off the bench this season. If Brown does not play Friday, his next chance to return is Tuesday against Dayton.
