Justin Moore - Bright spot in lossMoore closed Sunday's 57-36 loss to Baylor with 15 points (5-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds and one assist across 33 minutes.
ImpactMoore played his game well, recording expected numbers despite his team's struggle to stack up against the Bears. He has averaged 7.5 rebounds in his last four performances and over the season he has only failed to surpass 10 points twice. Matchups like this show that not even an elite defense like Baylor can hinder his production.

Adam Flagler - 10 points in win over NovaFlagler provided 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt), one rebound, five assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Sunday's 57-36 victory over Villanova.
ImpactFlagler has had a slow start to the season by many's standards. He was very effective as a sixth man last season for a loaded backcourt that went on to cut down the nets. With Baylor losing all of its backcourt going into this season, Flagler was a potential Big 12 POY candidate. He is averaging just 8.6 points, 2.9 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.3 three-pointers to this point, however. He will hope to turn things around in conference play.

James Akinjo - Leads Bears to another good winAkinjo chipped in 16 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Sunday's 57-36 win over Villanova.
ImpactAkinjo was the best player on the floor in the this one. He was able to lead the defending champs to their ninth straight win to start the 2021-22 campaign. Akinjo is averaging 10.6 points, 6.0 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. He should see his scoring rise as Baylor starts to get into conference play, as the Bears have played in a ton of blowouts this season.
