Jayden Gardner - Puts up 12 points with 14 boards Gardner finished with 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 14 rebounds and one assist in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 52-49 loss to James Madison.

Impact Gardner recorded an impressive double-double, and this was the fourth time he accomplishes this goal in the current campaign. The senior big man is averaging 13.9 points and 8.5 boards per game, establishing himself as one of the best Virginia players this season.

Kihei Clark - Scores 11 in shocking loss Clark had 11 points (4-10 FG, 3-9 3Pt), two rebounds and three assists over 40 minutes during Tuesday's 52-49 loss to James Madison.

Impact Clark has scored at least 10 points in six of his last seven games, and while this wasn't an efficient performance from him, at least he was one of the standout performers in a game where the entire Virginia team struggled offensively. He's averaging 10.7 points per game.

Impact Franklin might have scored in double digits, but the fact that he ended with more field goals than points scored is concerning, to say the least. He's failed to surpass the 10-point mark in three games in a row and has been struggling with his shot as well, hitting just 40.9 percent of his field goals and 22.9 percent of his treys on the season.

Impact Gardner has scored at least 15 points in three of his last four games and continues to settle as Virginia's main offensive threat. In fact, he has scored 10 or more points in all but two of his appearances to date. He is averaging 14.1 points per game, but surprisingly, that figure would be a career-worst mark for him given he put up 18.3 points per game in 2020-21.

He hadn't played more than 14 minutes in any of his previous appearances and he's not expected to perform at this level on a regular basis going forward.
