Keve Aluma - Comes close to double-doubleAluma had 24 points (10-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, four blocks and one steal over 35 minutes during Monday's 62-53 win over Virginia.

ImpactAluma has been on fire of late, as he has scored at least 18 points in four of his last five games while also putting up 20 or more points three times in that span. He's averaging 18.4 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 65.4 percent from the field in that span.

Kadin Shedrick - Pours 11 points off benchShedrick accumulated 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, one block and one steal in 22 minutes during Monday's 62-53 loss to Virginia Tech.

ImpactShedrick continues to play off the bench and has been surprisingly productive in that role, posting five double-digit scoring games in 10 games when being used as a second-unit player. He's averaging 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game since changing roles, compared to the 5.9 points and 5.3 boards he was averaging as a starter until Jan. 12.

Beekman hadn't scored in double digits since a 13-point showing on Jan. 29 against Notre Dame, and there's no question he needs to be more consistent as a scorer going forward.

ImpactGardner was fantastic in this game, but his efforts were not enough to carry the Cavaliers to victory in this one. It's worth noting that Gardner has now scored at least 15 points in four of his last five contests and is averaging 18.8 points per game in that span.
