ImpactPemsl scored just one point in two games off the bench during the first two contests of the season, but he delivered an improved performance Sunday and was active on both ends of the court in this one. He's yet to average more than 6.0 points per game since his sophomore year at Iowa, however, so he's not expected to carry a big role off the bench for the Hokies this season.

ImpactRadford was one of five Hokies that scored in double digits, but he paced the team thanks to a remarkably efficient performance -- he made seven of his 12 shots from the field and only struggled from three-point range, drilling one of his three attempts. Radford had scored 17 points combined over his first two appearances, so this performance was clearly a step in the right direction.
