ImpactWilliams was coming off a triple-double in his previous contest and while he couldn't deliver a well-rounded performance like that one in this contest, he had one of the best scoring outings we've seen in college basketball in 2021-22. Williams continues to be one of the best scoring threats in the ACC and is averaging 19.8 points per game so far, a huge upgrade compared to his previous two seasons.

R.J. McCray - In health and safety protocolHead coach Steve Forbes revealed after Tuesday's win over VMI that McCray is currently in the team's health and safety protocol, Ethan Joyce of the Winston-Salem Journal reports.
ImpactMcCray notably did not dress over the weekend and coach Forbes finally revealed during Tuesday's postgame presser as to why the 6-4 freshman has been absent. It's unclear when he could be cleared and ready to return. His next chance to suit up will be Friday against Charlotte.
