Scores eight points off benchMassoud had eight points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and two rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench during Saturday's loss against Virginia Tech.
ImpactMassoud might have ended with only eight points, but he still finished as the team's second-highest scorer -- that isn't surprising considering the Demon Deacons only shot 27.3 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from three-point range as a team. Massoud has come off the bench in each of Wake Forest's last six games and is averaging 4.7 points across 18.7 minutes per game in that span.

Fills stat sheet SaturdayAluma registered 23 points (9-11 FG, 5-5 3Pt), eight rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal across 20 minutes in Saturday's win over Wake Forest.
ImpactAluma only played half of the game but that was more than enough to record one of his best performances of the season -- he ended just two rebounds away from putting up what would've been his fifth double-double over his last six appearances and also scored in double digits for the sixth straight contest. He is averaging 20.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game during that six-game stretch.

Strong offensive outputRadford had 15 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds, two assists and a steal across 28 minutes in Saturday's win over Wake Forest.
ImpactRadford took advantage of Wake Forest's lackluster defense to reach the 15-point mark for the third time in his last five appearances dating all the way back to Jan. 12, as he missed four games between Jan. 27 and Feb. 6 due to a suspension. Radford is averaging 11.4 points per game, which is an upgrade compared to his 10.2 points per game from his freshman year.

Logs 12 in return to starting lineupAntonio had 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-9 3 Pt), three rebounds, an assist and a block across 29 minutes in Saturday's loss to Virginia Tech.
ImpactThere were conflicting starting lineups that were posted by media during pre-game warmups, but Antonio ultimately took the court for his first start since Feb. 2. He also scored his most points since a 23-point effort against Florida State back on Feb. 13, effectively bouncing back from a scoreless performance last Wednesday against Clemson.

Likely out until ACC TournamentCone won't play for the remainder of the regular season, but coach Mike Young is optimistic he'll be available for the ACC Tournament that begins March 9, Norm Wood of The Virginia...
ImpactCone had been given a starting opportunity in early-February, but suffered an ankle injury Feb. 6 and hasn't seen game action since (the team also had a two-plus week pause due to COVID-19 protocol). Virginia Tech is 1-1 since returning from that hiatus and has a pair of regular season games against Louisville (March 3) and North Carolina State (March 6) remaining. Cone and the Hokies are presumed to be safely in the NCAA Tournament field, so there's little reason to rush back the sophomore early. The team also got a recent boost with the return of Tyrece Radford (11.4 ppg) from suspension, but Cone's 9.2 ppg scoring average will certainly be welcome in postseason play.
