Playing through injury Kessler is battling a left shoulder injury according to coach Bruce Pearl, On3.com reports.
Impact Kessler picked up the injury in the Tennessee game last Saturday. He was able to play through it on Wednesday against Mississippi State and log 29 minutes along with 10 boards and three blocks. Kessler will wear a brace, but this doesn't sound like something that will cost him any game action. It should just be more of a discomfort the leading shot blocker in the nation will have to deal with.

Impact Kessler broke his previous season rebounding high by five, which helped the Tigers out-perform the Razorbacks on the glass by a margin of 60 to 42. It was also a stellar defensive performance, as the seven rejections bring Kessler up to 4.33 bpg -- just .06 behind Jamarion Sharp for the nation's lead. While it was an outstanding individual performance on both ends of the court for Kessler, the backcourt simply couldn't pick him up, as the team shot just 25 percent from distance, with few guards outside of Wendell Green showing any offensive consistency.
