Impact Culver has scored in double digits in five straight games, and he has also grabbed 10 or more boards in four of his six appearances to date. He's been West Viriginia's most productive player by a wide margin and is averaging 14.5 points with 10.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game over his first six games of the season, all of them as a starter.

Impact Tshiebwe has had a decent start to the season, but some were expecting a little more after a strong freshman campaign. Derek Culver has taken the lead in the frontcourt through the first five games, averaging 15.4 PPG and 10.8 RPG to Tshiebwe's 9.2 PPG and 8.2 RPG. Gabe Osabuohien has also got a decent amount of run off the bench for coach Bob Huggins. Tshiebwe is still extremely talented and could post some monster lines any given night. They will take on Robert Morris on Wednesday.

Plays 35 minutes in win Matthews notched 13 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in Sunday's win over Georgetown.
Impact Matthews had not topped double figures in any of the first four games of the season. He was much more effective on Sunday and coach Bob Huggins rewarded him with 35 minutes of action. The 6-7 forward should continue to start at small forward the rest of the season.

Posts big line in win McBride had a team-high 17 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT) and added seven rebounds, seven assists, and four steals in the win over Georgetown on Sunday.
Impact McBride was one of the top potential breakout players in the Big 12 heading into the season and he has not disappointed. Through five games, McBride is putting up 15.2 points, 4.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 three-pointers per contest. The sophomore is also playing 32.6 minutes per game, which is no small feat in a Bob Huggins rotation. He should continue to be the top offensive option for the Mountaineers on Wednesday against Robert Morris.

Continues to shine despite loss Culver had a team-high 18 points (6-13 FG, 6-11 FT) to go along with 15 rebounds and two assists in Wednesday's loss to Gonzaga.
Impact Culver has now racked up 14 or more rebounds in three of four games this season. The 6-10 junior is generally a safer fantasy play than the likes of Oscar Tshiebwe or Gabe Osabuohien, as Culver is smarter with his fouls and has yet to foul out of a game this year. That wasn't the case for the aforementioned players Wednesday, as both fouled out with plenty of game left, leaving Culver to play the better part of the second half with four personals. This unique ability ended with Culver seeing a season-high 34 minutes, which was more than any other player in Bob Huggins' deep rotation.
