ImpactTshiebwe has had a decent start to the season, but some were expecting a little more after a strong freshman campaign. Derek Culver has taken the lead in the frontcourt through the first five games, averaging 15.4 PPG and 10.8 RPG to Tshiebwe's 9.2 PPG and 8.2 RPG. Gabe Osabuohien has also got a decent amount of run off the bench for coach Bob Huggins. Tshiebwe is still extremely talented and could post some monster lines any given night. They will take on Robert Morris on Wednesday.

ImpactMatthews had not topped double figures in any of the first four games of the season. He was much more effective on Sunday and coach Bob Huggins rewarded him with 35 minutes of action. The 6-7 forward should continue to start at small forward the rest of the season.

ImpactMcBride was one of the top potential breakout players in the Big 12 heading into the season and he has not disappointed. Through five games, McBride is putting up 15.2 points, 4.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 three-pointers per contest. The sophomore is also playing 32.6 minutes per game, which is no small feat in a Bob Huggins rotation. He should continue to be the top offensive option for the Mountaineers on Wednesday against Robert Morris.
