ImpactTabbs was supposedly given NCAA clearance in August, and the program hasn't said much regarding his status to begin this season, leaving all possibilities in play. In his absence, Tristen Newton has been leading the team in offensive rating and usage rate, and he also dropped 30 points in Saturday's win. The sledding is about to get much tougher for the Pirates, however, as they have a matchup with Porter Moser's Oklahoma Sooners scheduled for Thursday. It's unclear if Tabbs will be available to provide an offensive boost at that time.
