Babacar Faye - Slated for knee MRI Faye (knee) will undergo an MRI on his knee after this weekend's game against Kennesaw State, Jeff Nations of Bowling Green Daily News reports.
Impact Faye, who hasn't appeared since Dec. 14, is scheduled to receive a follow-up MRI on his knee early next week. The 6-foot-8 senior, who started in WKU's first 10 games, will continue to have his status monitored ahead of the Hilltoppers game against MTSU on Jan. 18.

Impact Faye started the first 10 games of the season at center for Western Kentucky, averaging an impressive 15.2 ppg and 7.8 rpg -- both personal bests over his four-year collegiate career. He was set to get an MRI on the knee, according to Isaac Bourne of SB Nation, and hasn't been seen since, missing Thursday's C-USA opener against Liberty. Leeroy Odiahi and Tyrone Marshall have been manning the center position since, with the recent return of Blaise Keita also providing a depth option. Faye's next chance to take the court will be Saturday at Florida International.
