Neath did undergo knee surgery back in April to correct a reoccurring issue, and while the program has simply referred to the injury as "lower body" this season, Gard's comments seem to imply that the surgery didn't go exactly as anticipated. It's unclear what the future holds for Neath, who could likely successfully lobby for a medical redshirt and extra season of eligibility.
