ImpactCook reached 30 points for the second time in three games in Sunday's loss. In this three game stretch, Cook has made 15 threes, shooting a very strong 46.8 percent from behind the arc. His eight made three-pointers set a new season high. Over the last eight games, Cook has scored at least 20 points in each game.

Craig Porter - Notches triple-double on SundayPorter supplied 15 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and three steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 83-76 victory over Tulane.

ImpactPorter has been close a couple times this season, but he finally was able to get that elusive triple-double. He just continues to have an excellent season and is heating up with the postseason on the horizon. Over the last five games, Porter is averaging 16.2 points, 7.2 assists, 7.0 rebounds, 1.8 steals, 1.8 three-pointers, and 1.0 blocks per contest. He'll need another super performance to give the Shockers a chance to pull off a road upset of Houston on Thursday.

Jaron Pierre - Logs season-high 28 points SundayPierre totaled 28 points (9-17 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 5-7 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Sunday's 83-76 win over Tulane.

ImpactPierre capitalized on his return to the Shockers' starting lineup, matching his season high for three-pointers as well as made field-goal attempts. This also marked his fourth time scoring at least 14 points over the last six games. His season-high four assists were second behind only Wichita State point guard Craig Porter on Sunday, the latter of whom logged a triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Pierre will look to carry the momentum from Sunday's prolific performance into the final two regular-season games versus Houston on Thursday followed by South Florida on Sunday.

Pierre will take the place of 5-foot-10 sophomore Melvion Flanagan in Sunday's starting unit.
