Impact McNair came off the bench to contribute 12 points, six boards and four blocks, but it wasn't enough as Kansas State fell in the Big 12 quarterfinals to Iowa State. The senior big man was one of three Wildcats to reach double-figures on the night. While it is a long shot that Kansas State will make it back into the Big Dance to follow up on last year's run to the Elite Eight, it is also likely that McNair's season will continue when the NIT field is announced.

Impact McNair shot 7-for-9 from the floor, including draining his only three-point attempt, on his way to an impressive 17 points, 10 rebound performance during Tuesday's loss. It was McNair's first double-double of the season and first since 2021 when he was at New Mexico State. The senior moved to a bench role at the start of February, but has actually seen an increase in production and playing time since taking on the new role. Over those nine games, he's averaging 25.3 minutes, 9.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and is shooting 67.9% from the field. In 20 previous contests, including 19 starts, he averaged 22.4 minutes, 7.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 59.8% shooting.
