Impact Hodges likely chose this option due to be buried in the rotation, affording him an extra year of eligibility. He doesn't figure to see the floor this season as a result, though things could change if injuries begin to pile up in the Badgers' frontcourt.

Jonathan Davis - Productive in victory Davis produced 15 points (6-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 81-58 win over St. Francis Brooklyn.

Impact Davis led the Badgers in scoring and was one of three starters to score in double figures in Tuesday's blowout win. The sophomore averaged 7.0 points and 4.1 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game while playing exclusively off the bench last year, but he's in line for a starting role to begin the 2021-22 season.

Chucky Hepburn - Scores 13 in win Hepburn produced 13 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound and one assist across 24 minutes during Tuesday's 81-58 victory over St. Francis Brooklyn.

Impact Hepburn drew the start in his collegiate debut Tuesday, and he shot just over 50 percent from the floor en route to a double-digit scoring total. Fellow guards Jahcobi Neath and Lorne Bowman also played at least 15 minutes in Tuesday's blowout win, but Hepburn appears to be in line for the majority of the work to begin the season.

Impact A true freshman, Hepburn has apparently compiled an impressive camp and will take over as the starting point guard for a Badgers team that experiences turnover at numerous starting lineup spots for 2021-22. Given the youth in Wisconsin's starting lineup, there may be some growing pains on tap for the Badgers this season, and the team's slow pace will also work against Hepburn's fantasy line. Still, it appears he should see a sizable workload out of the gate and will presumably be on the ball early and often.

Impact Crowl never reached double-digit minutes in any of his 12 freshman-season appearances, but the door is wide open for a big man to step up following the departures of Nate Reuvers and Micah Potter. The 7-0 center will have to contend with a more experienced Cincinnati transfer in Chris Vogt for minutes, in addition to fellow sophomore Ben Carlson. Crowl was the most offensive-minded of the group Sunday, though the report did note that many of the scoring opportunities were created by his teammates. In the end, it's likely all three make the rotation, which will limit the fantasy prospects of any individual option.

That left the red team short of facilitators, with Brad Davison and Johnny Davis picking up the mantle for the white squad. The next opportunity the Badgers have to suit up at full strength will be an exhibition matchup against UW-Whitewater on Oct. 29.

Impact Vogt underwent offseason shoulder surgery all the way back in March, but the fact he's participating in a relatively low-stakes scrimmage suggests that won't hinder him to begin the 2021-22 campaign. It's remains unclear whether he'll lock down the starting job when the season opens up, as Vogt will have to contend with returning post players Ben Carlson and Steven Crowl for minutes. Flood does concede in his report that Vogt may not be a dynamic scorer, but noted his size, physicality and defensive capability -- all traits that will be necessary to compete in a conference loaded with talented centers.
