Marquette upsets Wisconsin on Justin Lewis buzzer beater: Hear from the hero
4 years ago
Scores season-best 18 pointsLewis registered 18 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight rebounds and two blocks in 27 minutes off the bench during Friday's 67-65 win over Wisconsin.
ImpactLewis sniffed a double-double off the bench and, in fact, he was the Golden Eagles' leading scorer despite logging just 27 minutes -- a decent amount off the bench but fewer than most starters. Lewis was one of the big reasons why Marquette pulled the upset against the fourth-ranked Badgers, but he's scored in double digits in three of his first four appearances of the season. He will try to keep that strong run of performances alive against Wisconsin-Green Bay next Tuesday.
