ImpactWhile multiple Hepburn iso opportunities were unable to get things done in the final possessions, the sophomore point guard has still been largely productive in six Big Ten games to begin the 2023 calendar year. Over that span, he's posted 14.2 ppg and 4.3 apg, with both representing increases from his season-long marks. Of course, his usage was boosted a bit by the three-game absence of running mate Tyler Wahl, and the Badgers sport just a 2-4 record overall during that stretch.

ImpactBarnhizer hasn't been so consistent but that might be changing with 56 minutes played over his last two games, during which he scored 19 points, made five rebounds and recorded five assists. While his time in the spotlight might not come around this season, Barnhizer's activity suggests he has the potential to improve plenty during his college career.

Ideally for him, this will be a sign of things to come from the junior, especially while Max Klesmit (upper body) continues being likely to sit out because of his injury.

Max Klesmit - Doubtful to play WednesdayWisconsin coach Greg Gard said Monday that Klesmit (upper body) is unlikely to play in Wednesday's game against Maryland, Evan Flood of 247Sports.com reports.

ImpactKlesmit is dealing with a upper-body injury sustained during Tuesday's win over Penn State. While Gard didn't provide any additional clarity on the timeline for his return, the 6-foot-3 junior will likely remain out at least one more game after he failed to travel to Monday's rescheduled game versus Northwestern. Klesmit has averaged 6.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.6 steals over 17 starts this season, and his absence should leave freshman Connor Essegian and junior Jordan Davis to continue starting in his place.
