ImpactKier's 13 points tied a season-high as he contributed over half of the team's bench points on the strength of three 3-pointers. The transfer from Georgia has shown increased efficiency with the talent around him, with impressive shooting splits of 52/36/82 this season. Kier has been able to get consistent minutes off-the-bench with his ability to play either guard position.

He finished the game tied with Azuolas Tubelis as the second-leading scorer behind Bennedict Mathurin, and remains one of four Wildcats averaging double figures with a mark of 11.0 ppg.

ImpactAiken was a multi-year starter at Eastern Washington before transferring to Arizona for his fourth collegiate season, where he's served in a depth role for the undefeated Wildcats. His absence Wednesday essentially forced the starters to take on more minutes, with Justin Kier, Pelle Larsson and Oumar Ballo serving as the leading reserves. After the game, coach Tommy Lloyd commented on the situation, saying "I think we all need to respect his privacy right now. He's working through it and at some point I would love to have him back with us."
