ImpactHamm has put together a quality stretch of play, averaging 9.7 points and 9.4 rebounds over his last seven games. While he has three double-digit rebounding games in that span, this was only the second double-double of that stretch. The Texas transfer will continue to be a key piece for UNLV, though the Rebels will need close to a miracle run if they hope to go dancing in March.

Hunter Maldonado - Nearly logs another triple-doubleMaldonado recorded 22 points (8-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 64-57 loss to UNLV.

ImpactAfter recording a triple-double in Monday's loss to San Diego State, Maldonado nearly accomplished the same feat, though he did at least record his sixth double-double. The 6-foot-7 point guard has been a fantasy gold mine all season for the Cowboys, though the team has suffered back-to-back losses and is now out of contention for a Mountain West regular season championship. Wyoming still has the makings of a tournament team, however, and will look to solidify that status in the regular season finale against Fresno State on Saturday before gearing up for the MWC tournament.
