Roddie Anderson - Scores 29 in home loss Anderson produced 29 points (7-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 12-16 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Monday's 87-68 loss to Santa Clara.

Impact Anderson and forward Tre Carroll (21 points on 7-for-12 FG) were responsible for nearly the entirety of Xavier's offense in the unfortunate home loss, as the duo accounted for nearly 74 percent of the team's total points. The senior guard's role has been inconsistent thus far, but Monday represented season highs in minutes, scoring and shots attempted through three games. As Xavier looks to find its identity under new head coach Richard Pitino, Anderson at least appears to have the tools to be a go-to scorer and reliable fantasy asset. He'll look to continue that momentum into Friday's matchup at Iowa.

Mier Panoam - Limited impact in return Panoam (toe) notched one rebound and one assist in six minutes during Monday's 87-68 loss to Santa Clara.

Impact Panoam didn't do much in the six minutes he logged off the bench. However, at least he was healthy enough to see action, and he should be considered an option off the bench going forward.

Filip Borovicanin - Part of first unit Borovicanin is part of the starting lineup for Monday's game against Santa Clara, Shelby Dermer of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact Borovicanin started in the season opener before being moved to the bench for Game 2. He'll return to the starting lineup for the third game of the campaign. He logged six points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals across 25 minutes in his last appearance.

Impact Wright clearly impressed his coaching staff in Monday's season opener as he is now part of the starting lineup, replacing Roddie Anderson. He hit four of his five 3-point attempts and scored 14 points in the opener, a performance he will look to build on in Thursday's matchup.

Impact Although Wright did not start Monday's season opener, he still logged 27 minutes and was one of three Musketeers to score at least 14 points. He hit four of his five 3-point attempts, an excellent start for a player who shot 38.3 percent from beyond the arc last season with Valpo. Even if he doesn't start, Wright appears set to be an important piece of Xavier's rotation as he's likely the team's best and most consistent shooter.

Impact Messina-Moore led the Musketeers in scoring in Monday's opener, dropping 16 in a surprisingly close win over Marist. Given the game ended up being so close he played nearly the entire game, giving an insight into what Xavier's rotation could look like in more competitive matchups. It was a solid individual performance from Messina-Moore, but the close win over an inferior opponent is somewhat concerning for the team.

Impact Pozzato is a 6-7 forward who transferred to Xavier from Evansville. He averaged 14.9 points and 4.4 rebounds as a freshman in 2024-25. Look for starters Isaiah Walker and Tre Carroll to get a small bump in minutes while Pozzato recovers. Ian Sabourin could see a few reserve minutes as well.

Mier Panoam - Doubtful for season opener Panoam (toe) is doubtful for Xavier's regular season opener against Marist on Nov. 3, Rick Broering of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Panoam sustained a broken toe earlier this offseason that has left his status for Xavier's season opener in jeopardy. The 6-foot-2 junior transfer from North Dakota started in 33 games last season, averaging 13 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steals on 28.2 minutes per game. Head coach Richard Pitino stated on his podcast earlier this week that he expects Panoam to start to the back of the guard rotation until he works his way back up to speed, stating that it'll be up to him to play his way into a bigger role in the backcourt.

Kason Westphal - DNP for exhibition game Westphal (undisclosed) did not play during Xavier's exhibition game Oct. 18 against Murray State, according to Rick Broering of 247Sports.com.

Impact An undisclosed injury prevented an available Westphal during the Xavier Musketeers' lone exhibition before their 2025-26 season begins Nov. 3 against Marist. He is trying to begin his collegiate career.
