Impact Jones and Xavier couldn't overcome the red hot Golden Eagles who were victorious in their last five games prior to Sunday. Jones recorded two assists in the opening five minutes of play but didn't record a bucket of his own until less than seven minutes remained in the first half. The sophomore has not had a game with less than five rebounds since the layoff and continues to hustle in all situations. He will seek to elevate Xavier back into the win column against Providence on Wednesday.
