Justyn Mutts - Pulls down 11 reboundsMutts ended with five points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Friday's 59-58 loss to Xavier.
ImpactMutts has struggled to deliver strong numbers on offense, but he's been massive when it comes to rebounding and has grabbed at least 10 boards in each of his last two contests. He hasn't scored in double digits in four games in a row, though.

Hunter Cattoor - Scores 13 in loss FridayCattoor registered 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Friday's 59-58 loss to Xavier.
ImpactCattoor has the ability to put up points on the board on any given night, but he has struggled with his consistency and has scored in double digits just twice this season. He's averaging 9.0 points per game, but even that figure represents a current career-high mark for him.

Nate Johnson - Pivotal effort against HokiesJohnson produced 30 points (10-14 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and two steals in 40 minutes during Friday's 59-58 victory over Virginia Tech.
ImpactXavier was down three key rotation pieces due to an illness that's been going around the team, which resulted in Johnson playing all 40 minutes and attempting the most shots of any game this season. The senior is on track for his most efficient year yet, as he's on pace to improve his shooting percentage a full eight percentage points from a season ago.

Zach Freemantle - Gains full clearanceFreemantle (foot) has been medically cleared to return to all basketball activities, Adam Baum of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
ImpactFreemantle surprised many by suiting up and participating in warmups Friday, though last year's starting center ultimately didn't get into the game. It sounds like it may be a matter of conditioning, but coach Travis Steele did say Freemantle will be on the court for Xavier's next practice. The Musketeers do have a bit of a break before their next game, scheduled for Dec. 1 against Central Michigan, but it's probably too early to tell what Freemantle's availability might look like for that contest.

Nate Johnson - Unleashes 30 pointsJohnson racked up 30 points (10-14 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and two steals in 40 minutes during Friday's 59-58 victory over Virginia Tech.
ImpactJohnson was peerless, he recorded a career-high in points when no other Xavier player cracked double-digits. He scored the game-winning bucket with under one minute remaining, just in case it was in doubt just whose game this was. The senior is comfortable in the driver's seat, as this was his second game above 10 attempts this season. Xavier will seek to provide him support to turn nail-biters into landslides going forward, starting with the Chippewas on Wednesday.
