Impact While the Baylor guards struggled with the elite backcourt of the Cyclones, the front court excelled, with Missi combining with Jalen Bridges and Caleb Lohner for 46 points and 29 rebounds. Missi contributed 14 and 11 of that for his fifth double-double of the season. While the Bears were not at their best Friday and were eliminated in the semifinal round of the Big 12 tournament, they are the only team in the country with six players averaging at least 10 points per game and will enter next week's NCAA tournament likely as a dangerous four or five seed capable of taking down anyone and making a deep run.

He simply got a taste of tougher, Big 12 centers, getting held in check by the physical frontcourt combination of Noah Waterman and Aly Khalifa. Head coach Scott Drew pivoted to a smaller, more versatile lineup as a result, and Jalen Bridges ended up scoring a team-high 25 in the victory. Missi, a 7-0 freshman with pro aspirations, will look to bounce back Saturday against Cincinnati, though the Bearcats are one of the best rebounding teams in the country.
