Impact Norton grabbed two one of his 12 targets, but he still did end the outing with a solid 57 yards and a touchdown. The sophomore wide receiver now has 10 catches for 184 yards and four touchdowns in the last three games for the Zips, keeping him at a favorable spot as the season winds down.

Impact Norton put together a huge performance, and he also logged his first touchdown game of the season. The sophomore pass catcher's two touchdowns came in Akron's 23-point fourth quarter, and the wide receiver is primed for continued volume as the Zips finishes out conference play this season.

The sophomore wide receiver is coming off a big eight reception, 168-yard performance against Western Michigan, which may balance his output to something in between this week and last week in the coming games for Akron.

Impact Norton posted his highest yardage matchup of the season, along with eight receptions which was his highest number in that category as well. The sophomore wide receiver has full control over Akron's air attack, and he's showed he can be efficient even without a lot of touchdowns.

Second most season yards in loss Norton tallied three receptions (on seven targets) for 78 yards during Saturday's 27-20 loss to Bowling Green.

Impact Norton had a lower three catches against Bowling Green, but his big play abilities got him his second-most yards on the year. The sophomore wide receiver hasn't had huge output as the WR1 for Akron so far this year, but touchdowns on top of his already solid yardage could mean big things in the coming weeks.

Finally surpasses 100 yards Norton had five catches for 125 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 31-20 win against Colgate.

Impact Norton was very efficient against Colgate, and he finally played like the WR1 that he's been listed as especially accruing more than 100 yards and a score in the second quarter. If Akron continues to rely on the passing game especially in the coming conference games, Norton should benefit even if he doesn't find the end zone.
