Returning to College Station Smith (ankle) announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he'll return to Texas A&M for the 2023 season. Impact Rather than entering the 2023 NFL Draft or pursuing his options at another school during the upcoming fall, the 5-foot-10, 190-pound wideout will stick around in College Station for his fifth and final year of eligibility. Smith was limited to just four appearances in 2022 after suffering a season-ending fractured ankle in September and requiring surgery, but he should re-emerge as the No. 1 wideout for a rebuilt Texas A&M receiving corps during the upcoming season. Over his first four seasons with the Aggies, Smith has tallied 127 catches for 1,612 yards and 17 touchdowns while also carrying 67 times for 384 yards and four scores.
