Impact Williams laid an egg for the first time in his collegiate career, failing to find the end zone while also gaining his fewest yards in a single game. Everyone is entitled to a down outing, though one has to wonder whether teams will now pay extra special attention to the uber-talented wideout. It will be interesting to see if Williams can rebound in a tough road matchup next weekend at Tennessee.

Impact Bernard was the leading receiver for the Tide, and scored the only Alabama touchdown through the air. Bernard is averaging 15.4 yards per catch in 2024. Freshman sensation Ryan Williams was held in check in this contest, and it will be interesting to see if Bernard can benefit from the extra attention given to Williams again next weekend at Tennessee.
