The junior will try to reach the thousand-yard mark on the ground this season against Boise State on Friday (Nov. 29). Hankerson has collected 972 rushing yards (on 221 carries) heading into the regular season finale. The Broncos defense though is stingy against the run and are in the top 15 in the nation.

For the games that Hankerson has run for triple digits, he averages 136 rushing yards per game and a total of eight rushing touchdowns. The junior has a good chance to hit the century mark in the next contest against Air Force, Nov. 16. The Falcons defense is in the bottom quarter of the country against the run.

Impact Hankerson was a yard short of matching his career best in rushing yards. The junior ran for 155 yards against Idaho State on August 31 in the season opener. Hankerson could very well have a tough game running in the next game against UNLV on Oct. 19. The Rebels' defense is in the top 10 against the run. Conversely UNLV's pass defense is one of the worst in the country.
