Impact Raymond had his most efficient outing of the year as the Scarlet Knights ran all over the Spartans. The true freshman running back averaged a season-high 7.9 yards per carry while operating behind bell-cow back Kyle Monangai, who had 31 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown. Raymond also put Rutgers up 23-7 with a 13-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and he capped the game with a five-yard score. Raymond should continue to serve as RB2 in the 7-5 Scarlet Knights' upcoming bowl game this postseason.

Steps up Week 11 Raymond notched 22 carries for 73 yards during Saturday's 26-19 victory versus Minnesota.

Impact Raymond shouldered a heavy workload with star senior running back Kyle Monangai (head) ruled out. The true freshman wasn't efficient, but he paced the offense with a team-high in carries ahead of sophomore back Ja'shon Benjamin, who logged 11 carries for 66 yards. Raymond has averaged just over 2.9 yards per carry over the last two weeks. He'll likely remain the top back if Monangai is out again for next week's road game at Maryland.
