Impact Daniels had his best game of the season in an upset win over Louisville. His three touchdowns and 298 yards were both season-highs. The junior remains an efficient passer as well, completing 66.7 percent of his throws against the Cardinals. This was much-needed performance for a floundering quarterback and program. Daniels will look to keep it up next week against California.

Benched vs. NC State Daniels completed 6 of 8 passes for 70 yards during Saturday's 59-28 defeat to North Carolina State. He also had 11 rushes for 129 yards with two touchdowns.

Impact Daniels started the game but was ultimately replaced by Justin Lamson. Stanford's quarterback room is a hot mess right now. Both gunslingers scored twice, but neither looked particularly good doing it. Daniels at least provides the more dynamic element as a runner, as evidenced by his 129 yards and two scores in that department. That should allow him to keep the slight edge over Lamson, but it's awfully close in Palo Alto.

Impact Daniels started against Wake Forest despite getting benched the week prior, but the quarterback didn't exactly redeem himself. He turned the ball over twice and while he kept the Cardinal close, it ultimately wasn't enough to beat a struggling Wake Forest team. If he can hang onto the starting gig, he'll look to bounce back next week against NC State.

Struggles before getting pulled Daniels completed 2 of 5 passes for 20 yards during Saturday's 40-10 loss versus Southern Methodist.

Impact Daniels started the game for Stanford, but was removed after a handful of fruitless drives to open the game and replaced with Elijah Brown. If there's a silver lining for Daniels, it's that Brown didn't fare much better, and was arguably a net negative against SMU. This quarterback situation in Palo Alto is nearing time to panic, as no matter who takes snaps for the Cardinal, it simply can't get steady play from its signal caller. It remains to be seen if Daniels will be the starter moving forward.

Abysmal in blowout loss Daniels completed 8 of 13 passes for 74 yards during Saturday's 49-7 defeat to Notre Dame. He also had 14 rushes for 42 yards.

Impact Daniels was completely shut down in Stanford's shellacking at the hands of Notre Dame. The game wasn't competitive, and the quarterback's stat-line reflects that. The controversy between Daniels and Justin Lamson rages on in Palo Alto, although it's hard to take away much from such a one-sided blowout loss. Daniels will look to maintain his loose grip on the starting gig this week against SMU.

He couldn't even surpass the 100-yard mark, and was ultimately replaced by Justin Lamson late in the game. It was a forgettable performance for the gunslinger, but it did come against a good Clemson team. He'll look to bounce back next week against Virginia Tech.

Two picks in narrow win Daniels was 23-for-38 passing for 178 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Friday's 26-24 victory over Syracuse. He also had 13 rushes for 45 yards.

Impact Daniels turned the ball over twice and wasn't all that efficient with just 4.7 yards-per-attempt, but the quarterback did just enough to lead the Cardinal to a win. His rushing output certainly helped. The quarterback hasn't lit up the stat sheet, but The Cardinal have now stacked back-to-back victories.

Impact The Irish pummeled Stanford Saturday, and the team shuffled through quarterbacks to find some kind of a spark. Justin Lamson and Ari Patu made appearances in lieu of Daniels, who was still the best option in a bad scenario for the Cardinal. Impact You can't pin this loss on Daniels, as he had his second 300-plus yard game of the season against an imposing Washington defense. His backfield fared well enough to allow Daniels to pass the ball more, and he heaved it up a season-high 50 times in the loss. Daniels also set a season-high is rushing, with 85 yards and two touchdowns on 18 attempts.

Defense thwarts solid game Daniels completed 27 of 45 passes for 268 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 42-7 defeat to UCLA. He also had six rushes for -11 yards.

Impact Daniels was let down by his defense Saturday, but the sophomore has put together solid numbers against a ranked team for the second consecutive week. After directing eight scoring drives against USC, UCLA's defense was a much tougher test. The scoreboard doesn't necessarily reflect it, but that's a result of sputtering out in the red zone. Daniels moved the ball well between the 20s and committed only one interception against a very talented cornerback crew.
