Impact Kaliakmanis logged more than 40 passing attempts in a game this season after averaging 27.9 per game through the first seven contests. The Minnesota transfer threw just his ninth passing touchdown of the season when he hit Christian Dremel for a 25-yard score in the third quarter. This was also his first passing touchdown since Week 6 versus Nebraska. Kaliakmanis surely would not have attempted this many passes if the Scarlet Knights weren't forced to play catch up for almost the entire game. Expect him to regress back to his paltry mean when Rutgers next plays Week 11 against his former team Minnesota.

Impact Kaliakmanis completed at least 60 percent of his passes and averaged over 5.0 yards per attempt for the first time since Week 4. He also got the Scarlet Knights on the board with a one-yard touchdown sneak in the first quarter. However, as per usual, he lost most of his red-zone scoring opportunities to bell-cow running back Kyle Monangai, who ran in for touchdowns of six, five and one yards. Kaliakmanis has now totaled three touchdowns over the last five weeks. He'll look to score either on the ground or through the air during next week's road game at USC.

The senior quarterback logged a season-high in rushing yards, but he completely failed as a passer with multiple missed passes and overthrows. Across three games versus conference opponents, Kaliakmanis has completed 44.1 percent of his passes for 404 yards and two touchdowns to three interceptions. His complete lack of proficiency as a passer has also begun to hold bac what was previously a dominant rushing game with star running back Kyle Monangai. Kaliakmanis will simply look to provide soom complementary offense during next week's home game against UCLA.

His final stat line could have been much better if Black had also hauled in a deep pass that likely would have resulted in a touchdown, but the ball bounced off Black's helmet for a back-breaking incompletion. Kaliakmanis has scored just twice while completing 52.3 percent of his passes since Week 2. He'll look to clean it up for this coming Saturday's home game against a 3-2 Wisconsin squad.

Impact Kaliakmanis didn't have a tough task leading his new team to a win in his Rutgers debut. The Minnesota transfer matched his career-high for passing touchdowns in a game, and he continued to factor into the running game. However, his lackluster 6.1 yards per attempt is a telling sign that his statistical ceiling will still be capped in this offense. It's also unlikely that he'll get too many opportunities to rush for touchdowns in the red zone, as the Scarlet Knights are loaded at running back with Kyle Monangai and co. Therefore, fantasy owners shouldn't expect Kaliakmanis to register many explosive fantasy performances week-to-week moving forward.
