Robby Ashford - Continues battling for QB1 role Ashford's coach has noted that he has greatly improved his decision making in practice, Justin Ferguson of AuburnObserver.com reports.

Impact Ashford will have to overcome T.J. Finley and Zach Calzada if he wants the QB1 spot, and it seems like he is working as hard as he can to make this happen. Auburn's head coach Bryan Harsin has discussed how much Ashford's decision making has improved, and also named him the player of the day at Sunday's practice. Finley took first reps in drills while Calzada and Ashford were on the second and third during Tuesday's practice, but this certainly does not mean Ashford is out of the running for as a starter.

Ze'Vian Capers - Continues to improve in practice Capers has been praised by his head coach for his consistent improvement this offseason, Justin Ferguson of AuburnObserver.com reports.

Impact Capers is trying to prove that he deserves more consistent playing time on a deep Auburn offense this fall. Head coach Bryan Harsin has recognized the junior's hard work and highlighted that Capers adjusted to an off-target deep ball and still got a touchdown in practice. Capers has totaled 13 receptions for 131 yards and one touchdown over the last two years, but he seems to be positioning himself to get more opportunities on the field in 2022.

Anders Carlson - Still working back to form Carlson wore a knee brace at practice Tuesday and is still returning to form, Justin Ferguson of AuburnObserver.com reports.

Impact Carlson kicked in practice Tuesday, though the kicker has not reached his complete swing quite yet. The 6-foot-5 kicker reached the end zone with his kick off, though he still seems to be a ways away from returning to live action. Alex McPherson and Ben Patton are currently listed above Carlson on the Tigers depth chart.
