Payton Thorne - Expected to be available against LA-Monroe Thorne (shoulder) is expected to be active for the Tigers as they take on the Warhawks this Saturday, Nathan King of 247Sports.com reports. Impact Thorne has been limited by a shoulder injury that bothered him in Week 10 against Vanderbilt, but he is expected to return following Auburn's bye week. The sixth-year senior has yet to miss a game in his collegiate career and is reportedly feeling "a lot better than last week". Thorne has tossed for 1,825 yards (134-of-213), 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions across eight games this season, adding on 176 yards and two scores with his legs. Thorne's grasp on the starting job has reportedly been up in the air according to some comments made by Hugh Freeze last week, but as of now he looks to be on track to start this weekend against Louisiana-Monroe.
