Three scores against Cyclones Johnson was 12-for-28 passing for 220 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 29-21 defeat to Iowa State. He also had 13 rushes for 64 yards.

Impact Johnson tossed three touchdown passes for the third time this season, however, it wasn't enough as the Wildcats lost to Iowa State. It was the fifth time this year that Johnson posted double-digit rushing attempts as he has found more success in that aspect of his game as of late. Kansas State will await to hear where their bowl destination is.

In full control against Cincinnati Johnson was 13-for-23 passing for 147 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 41-15 victory against Cincinnati. He also had 10 rushes for 72 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Johnson was in full control against the Bearcats with three total touchdowns and no turnovers. It was his eighth game with at least two touchdowns passes and his sixth rushing score of the season. Although Johnson has not been one of the highest performing dual-threat quarterbacks in the nation, he has been consistent and will look to finish the regular season strong at Iowa State.

Multiple interceptions once again Johnson was 24-for-40 passing for 258 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 24-14 defeat against Arizona State. He also had six rushes for 21 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Johnson has logged multiple interceptions in back-to-back games, both losses for the Wildcats. It's been a tough year for the sophomore as he has 10 total turnovers, nine interceptions and one lost fumble. There were lots of missed throws and missed opportunities against the Sun Devils. A positive is that Johnson was able to add his fifth rushing score of the season, all of those touchdowns have come in his last six games. Kansas State will return home next week to play Cincinnati.

Costly turnovers in loss Johnson was 23-for-39 passing for 238 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday's 24-19 loss to Houston. He also had eight rushes for 18 yards.

Impact Johnson committed two turnovers for the second time this season, the other instance occurring in Week 4 at BYU. The outcomes in both of those games didn't bode well for the Wildcats. The most surprising stat was that Johnson managed just 18 rushing yards against Houston. Johnson entered the season with a lot of dual-threat hype, however, he's averaged just 43.4 rushing yards per game and has just four scores on the ground. Kansas State is on a bye before playing Arizona State.

Returns to production in run-game Johnson was 19-for-34 passing for 253 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 29-27 victory versus Kansas. He also had 14 rushes for 67 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Johnson added his fourth rushing touchdown of the season after a game where he had recorded zero rushing attempts. All four of those scores in the run-game have occurred over the last four weeks. Johnson has been above average as a passer this year with 16 touchdowns compared to five interceptions. It's clear that Kansas State is one of the best teams in the Big 12 Conference and they'll continue their run versus a bad Houston team next week.

Impact Johnson took a huge step forward as a passer as he recorded three touchdown passes in a game where he had zero rushing attempts. West Virginia decided to stack the box which took away Kansas State's run game, however, to Johnson's credit he was able to find success through the air. Johnson is completing 62.4 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns and five interceptions. The Wildcats have an in-state showdown with Kansas next week.
