Goes off in bowl game Greene totaled six catches for 115 yards and two carries for three yards during Friday's 24-10 loss against Minnesota in the Duke's Mayo Bowl.

Impact Greene hadn't totaled more than three catches in a game all season, but opt-outs from Da'Quan Felton and Jaylin Lane opened the door for additional opportunities in the bowl game. Greene took advantage of his extra looks and finished the day with a career-best showing, ending the 2024 season with 19 catches for 268 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding nine carries for another 66 yards and a score. He may be aligned for a more prominent role in the Hokies' receiving corps in 2025.

Scores second TD of 2024 Greene gathered in 2 of 8 targets for 19 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-14 loss to Clemson.

Impact Greene's touchdown was his second of what's been a quiet, 10-catch, 177-yard season for the sophomore wideout. His eight targets, however, were easily a season high. Time will soon tell if that was an outlier, or if Greene will emerge as one of the Hokies' top young receivers as the season winds down.

Gets involved vs. 'Canes Greene compiled three receptions (on four targets) for 33 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 38-34 defeat versus Miami (FL).

Impact Greene did next to nothing through four weeks, but then saw four targets out of nowhere against Miami. He turned that into his first career touchdown along with 33 yards. It remains to be seen if this was just a flash in the pan from the true sophomore, but regardless, this is the kind of performance that tends to award more snaps moving forward.
