Vaughn Pemberton - Will miss second straight game Pemberton (foot) will miss another game when Ball State takes on Western Michigan, per the MAC injury report.

Impact Pemberton missed last week against James Madison, and he'll make it two straight as Ball State resumes conference play. The tailback has been a rotational player in the Cardinal backfield, with 12 carries for 44 yards.

Impact Sloan did log another double-digit carries performance, but this unfortunately came without a touchdown which has aided him in the previous weeks. Given that Ball State got blown out, the running back's okay performance can be forgotten as the team looks to bounce back next week versus Western Michigan.

Kadin Semonza - Three picks against JMU Semonza completed 22 of 35 passes for 168 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions during Saturday's 63-7 defeat against James Madison.

Impact Semonza was coming off a big three-touchdown performance against Central Michigan which hopefully would lead to another big day, but the opposite ensued. The 5-foot-11 quarterback was given plenty of opportunities to toss the rock, but the rock ended up in the other team's hands far too much for a win to be in the works. James Madison's defense was solid against Semonza and his playmakers, but he'll have to improve if the team hopes to bounce back next week against Western Michigan.
