In competition for starting role Romney is among the candidates to serve as BYU's starting quarterback in 2021, Brandon Judd of the Deseret News reports. Impact Romney has appeared in nine games across the last two seasons, and he's completed 65.0 percent of his pass attempts for 1,008 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions. He has the most starting experience of any of BYU's quarterbacks, but he's slated to compete with Jaren Hall and Jacob Conover for the starting job in 2021.
