Returning for sixth season Bryant (foot) announced Dec. 21 via his personal Twitter account that he will return to Cincinnati for the 2023 season. Impact The 6-foot-3, 220-pound signal-caller will delay a move to the professional ranks and stick around in college for his sixth and final season of eligibility. Bryant, who began his career at Cincinnati before spending the 2021 season at Eastern Michigan and then rejoining the Bearcats, opened this past fall as the team's starting quarterback. He completed 61.3 percent of his 349 pass attempts for 2,732 yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions before missing the final two games of the season while recovering from a fractured foot. Provided he's fully cleared for summer workouts, Bryant will likely compete with incoming Arizona State transfer Emory Jones along with rising redshirt junior Evan Prater for the starting gig.
