Bound for NFL Robinson announced Monday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Texas to enter the 2023 NFL Draft, Nick Moyle of the San Antonio Express-News reports. Impact Robinson will sit out Texas' Dec. 29 Alamo Bowl matchup with Washington to begin preparing for the draft. The six-foot, 220-pound Robinson profiles as one of the top running backs in the 2023 class and could hear his name called in the early part of the first round, depending on how he fares during pre-draft testing. As a junior this fall, Robinson finished fifth in the nation this season with 1,580 rushing yards while producing 18 scores on the ground and catching 19 passes for 314 yards and two touchdowns. His departure likely leaves Roschon Johnson as the next man up on the depth chart at running back for the bowl game.
