Impact Jackson scored his first touchdown of the season Saturday, a 31-yard reception from Cooper Legas in the second quarter. He made three other catches in the game, but gained zero yards on those. He also had five carries for a mere 13 yards and was one of four Golden Hurricane backs to see at least three carries. With how split the backfield currently is, it's hard to see how Jackson can maintain good production.

Leads rushing attack Saturday Jackson posted 16 carries for 77 yards and caught 1 of 2 targets for four yards during Saturday's 52-20 loss against North Texas.

Impact Jackson led the team in rushing attempts and yards Saturday as he more than doubled Anthony Watkins' production. It was easily Jackson's best performance of the season. Watkins, who has been the No. 1 option in the run game, has not been very efficient during the first half of the season so Jackson does have a chance to take over the backfield if he continues to out-play Watkins.

Solid in backup role Saturday Jackson had 15 carries for 87 yards and gathered in their only target for nine yards during Saturday's 35-28 loss to North Texas.

Impact Jackson received a season-high 15 carries Saturday and turned that into a season-high 87 rushing yards. He and Anthony Watkins led the rushing attack versus the nation's worst rush-defense, and both unsurprisingly put together productive outings. It marked the third time in the last four games Jackson has seen at least 10 carries, but with a tougher matchup in the regular season finale Saturday at East Carolina, another productive game may be difficult to come by.
