Impact Ward played 15 snaps in Saturday's win but shockingly did not record a carry or a target. This came one game after he had 14 touches for 145 yards and a touchdown. Mitch Wolfe of 247Sports.com reports that Ward was unused because the Eagles wanted to take advantage of Syracuse's lack of size so used Kye Robichaux and Jordan McDonald since they are bigger backs. Given that explanation, Ward should be involved again Saturday at SMU.
