Throws for 196 yards vs. SDSU Schager went 20-for-34 and passed for 196 yards and one touchdown Saturday when Hawaii lost to San Diego State 16-14.

Impact The senior passed for 196 yards, but it took him 34 attempts to reach this number and he ended the game with a 58.8 percent completion rate. Still, Hawaii moved to a full run-and-shoot offense, so he could have some upside next week against Nevada.

Starts again for Hawaii Schager went 22-for-39 and recorded 261 yards and one touchdown Saturday as they lost 45-26 to New Mexico State.

Impact The Rainbow Warriors have certainly been struggling early in the season, and despite not starting the last two games, Schager was listed as QB1 against the Aggies. He was able to throw for a decent amount of yardage, but had just a 56.4 completion percentage and notched just one touchdown.
