Impact Lane suffered a season ending knee injury during Utah State's Week 8 loss to New Mexico. He had recorded 19 receptions for 197 yards and two touchdowns across six games this season and in his absence, Josh Sterzer will serve as the team's starting tight end.

Finds end zone Friday Lane (undisclosed) caught five passes for 45 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 50-34 loss to UNLV.

Impact Lane was a game-time call for Friday, and not only did he end suiting up, but he was also one of three players who recorded five or more catches in this high-scoring affair. Lane should remain the top option at tight end for the Aggies if he stays healthy, and he's up to 15 catches for 146 yards and two scores on the season.

Close to return Head coach Nate Drilling indicated Monday that Lane (undisclosed) is close to returning to play, The Aggship reports.

Impact Lane has been apparently dealing with an undisclosed injury and is questionable to play in Saturday's game against UNLV. The senior tight end has totaled 10 receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown across four games this season.

Impact Lane will be the top catching big man for the Aggies as the opener approaches in five days. The 6-foot-4 tight end hasn't yet seen a collegiate season with more than one receiving touchdown, so perhaps this year could be his chance as the TE1.

Logs 22 snaps in Week 4 Lane (knee) had three receptions for 14 yards in a 38-24 win over Wyoming on Sept. 24.

Impact Lane saw his first meaningful action of the year against the Cowboys. It wasn't much, but his three receptions for 14 yards were all career-bests of his. The redshirt sophomore missed all of 2021 with a nagging knee injury, and will look to get more integrated into the offense now that he's healthy again.
