The delay is likely due to some legal issues McCoy ran into at USC in 2021 and it is unclear whether or not McCoy will be approved soon. His teammate Lyn-J Dixon received a waiver Tuesday just six days after transferring to Knoxville, and the wide receiver is of course hoping to hear similar news soon.
